Welcome to Fron Fawr Holiday Cottages.


Located in Wales the holiday cottages at Fron Fawr near Cardigan in Pembrokeshire, are self-catering holiday cottages converted from traditional Welsh style stone and slate barns. Set in 48 acres its 4 cottages offer quality accommodation for between 2 to 8 guests that combines with the beauty of the area (and the nearby Preseli Hills and Pembrokeshire National Park) to ensure you have "a cottage holiday to remember in Wales".

Fron Fawr Holiday Cottages:
Glyndwr cottage sleeps up to 8 guests in two doubles, a twin and a single or twin bunk room
More Taliesin & Madog cottages each sleep up to 5 guests a double, a single and a single or twin bunk bedroom. Myrddin cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in two doubles and a single or twin bunk bedroom. PETS ARE WELCOME at FRON FAWR

Fron Fawr self-catering holiday cottages are located just 5 miles from Cardigan Bay on the beautiful north Pembrokeshire coast in south west Wales - just outside of the village of Boncath.

Places to visit and things to do:
Walk in the Preseli Mountains and explore dozens of archaeological sites, standing stones and castles. See the Waterfall at Cenarth. The delights of the Welsh Wildlife Centre - just two miles from Fron Fawr. Fron Fawr cottages are five miles from a truly spectacular coast. From Cemaes Head there are 170 miles of uninterrupted pathway along the Pembrokeshire coastline. You can watch seals (and puffin if you're lucky) from rocky headlands. Swim at Gwbert and Llangranog, or laze on the sandy beaches at Newport and Poppit, or at small coves such as nearby Mwnt. Sail in Cardigan Bay, go sea fishing or fish the River Teifi. There's golf at Gwbert or Newport. Pony trekking and riding. Tennis and bowling in Cardigan. And for children there's Folly Farm and Oakwood Leisure Park.

There are many fine Pubs and Restaurants within easy reach of Fron Fawr's holiday cottages. The most popular ones with Fron Fawr's guests include; the Nags Head Inn, Ferry Country Inn, Pendre Inn, Cnapan, Boncath Inn and Castle Kitchen, and Bowen's Fish & Chip Shop & 'Licenced' Restaurant.
