“Fantastic Dog Friendly Place”

Fantastic cottage, wonderful location. We were looking for a dog friendly break and this was perfect. The cottage was immaculate and well stocked. A beautiful part of Wales with dog-friendly beaches close by. I would recommend this to anyone.

Anna & Philip from Cardiff stayed in Taliesin with their dog during September 2016.

“Great For Toddlers”

We have a lovely 4 days at Fron Fawr in October – we were exceptionally lucky with the weather but in any event there would have been plenty to do. The facilities are great – indoors and out. The morning animal feeding at Clydey with Farmers Malcolm and Rachel were a highlight for our little boy and us. The area is also worth exploring – plenty to see. The cottage was also immaculate and the owners had made up our little boy’s room beautifully.

The Higgins family from London stayed in Aneirin Cottage during October 2016.

“Perfect Baby & Pooch Friendly Stay”

We booked Aneirin cottage as our first family holiday with our 4 month baby and had a lovely time. Aneirin cottage is beautifully decorated and modern with lots of space and a large garden, ideal for us with our two pooches.

All the additional touches made it so much easier, with everything from steriliser to changing mat provided. Even the dogs arrived to a treat each, bowls (though beware not really big enough for bigger dogs), poop bags and beds. Us adults also felt a warm welcome with tea, coffee, milk, welshcakes and homemade jam on arrival.

One of the reasons I booked From Fawr was for access to the amenities at Clydey, including the swimming pool, however due to my baby girl being full of a cold, we never got a chance to use it, which is such a shame, but definitely a bonus that would see us returning in the future. The cottages are in a great location and we had dome fab walks on some beautiful dog friendly beaches. All in all a fab first family holiday and we hope to be back soon. Thank you! X

The Donnelly family from Manchester stayed in Aneirin Cottage during November 2016.

“Absolutely Stunning & Perfect For Dogs”

Just finishing up on our wonderful weeks stay at the Ty Hen cottage in the Fron Fawr cottage collection. We’ve had a great stay visiting all of the local towns up to Aberystwyth! The photos on the website are great but if anything we were even happier when we arrived to find that the place was even better than expected!!

The house is furnished to a tasteful high standard. It retains lots of the old features of the doors etc but also includes lovely modern bathroom suites with underfloor heating etc. The 2 log burners are also a lovely feature.

The location is great for a relax. Cardigan is the nearest town for supermarkets etc.

We took our small Shiba Inu dog who also loved the house. There is a MASSIVE back enclosed garden where he could have the run of every day. The front garden is also fully enclosed so there were no worries of him getting out for any reason.

The owners Jacqui and Dewi were very accommodating from the start arranging for cleaners to come in last minute to accommodate our stay (thank you!). Their attention to detail is fantastic with boutique soaps in the bathrooms, high quality towels, doggy treats, welsh cakes, jams, and fresh flowers all on arrival.

Best nearby beach was poppit sands for the dog and was very popular for the dog walkers! Also had a lovely meal in the Nags Head which is being refurbished but was a lovely local pubs with home cooked meals at reasonable prices.

And not to forget the grounds…lovely views and a hot tub. We didnt use the Clydey resort facilities but went to have a look and their were of the same high standard. The gardens are also blooming thanks to the friendly gardener who we met on arrival!

All in all a great trip and will be coming back again!
